Anyways, I highly recommend this beautiful place to stay at in Napa (our room was #3). Apparently I have a max of 10 photos, but cannot post them all due to size limit. We had one in bed and the next day we decided to have our breakfast on our private balcony watching the peaceful waters. Our compliments to the chef for our delicious included breakfasts. Complimentary wine and cheese mini picnic each afternoon were a heartwarming touch that added to the romantic ambiance. The bathtub spa was perfect and it was the reason why I booked this quaint and charming inn. There is a small zen waterfall pond on the grounds that was pleasing to look at. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the well kept grounds and Milliken creek. They also gave a courtesy call noticing that we had not placed our bed and breakfast order for our last day and wanted to know what we wanted before the kitchen closed. There was one day that clean towels were not refreshed in our room.Īmazing staff. The only criticism I will provide is ensuring clean towels each day. The front desk staff was helpful in providing recommendations for restaurants and activities. The location of The Milleken is near down town but also away from high traffic areas. I wouldn’t say it was the best quality food that I’ve had from a B&B but good nonetheless. With the exception of one day, it was always on time. The view from the patio of the Napa River was excellent. There was plenty of wine and cheese available. Milleken does a social hour each day which we enjoyed. The attendant was extremely kind and brought us blankets and turned on the fire-pit. We were able spend one day outside on the patio. Thus, we were unable to enjoy the grounds as much as we would have liked. While we arrived a little late, they were in contact with us via text to ensure there was not anything additional we needed. I visited Milliken from May 1-May 4 to celebrate my lovely lady’s birthday. So we stuck it out but we will never go there again. We would have left after the first night but we had paid in advance and everything in Napa was heavily booked. Considering the cost of the room you would think they could at least give us a half bottle of wine from one of the local wineries, who would probably be glad for the promotion. Most surprising of all, the “welcome gift” of cheese and fruit was delivered in a cardboard box with wine in a can! A CAN! In Napa Valley! OMG. Virtually no human contact during our stay at all. The front desk staff hid away behind a glass door plus a plexiglass shield and mask and was nearly invisible. The parking lot was crowded with construction workers. The room we were assigned in the main building had multiple issues: the blinds could not be rolled up and one of them was permanently askew, one of the windows had a broken latch and did not close completely, the fireplace did not work, the flashlight in the drawer was dead, etc. We did not get the room we requested when I made the reservation way in advance. It’s quite expensive, but based on our previous stay, we thought it would be worth it. So we decided to go there again for her birthday this year. Beautiful grounds, fabulous room, excellent service, great food, wine tastings every evening, and so on. My wife and I stayed at Milliken Creek Inn 5 years ago for her birthday and it was wonderful. Thanks for everything and we look forward to seeing you soon! The staff is very accommodating, service oriented and happy to assist in making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Breakfast was always on time and we loved eating on our patio. They offer a nice selection of breakfast options and none of it disappointed. We recommend the super comfortable cushioned chaise loungers overlooking the river. Side note… I want to give them 5 stars for their HVAC system! Epically cold air conditioning in 90 degree weather is always appreciated!! Every afternoon they will text you to invite you to pickup your wine and cheese that you can enjoy anywhere on property. They also offer complementary in room L’occitaine bath products. The Tivoli speaker was a nice addition to the room as well the smart TV, Apple TV and mini fridge. We stayed in the Cedar room (Ask for room 7, it has the best layout.) The rooms are well appointed, clean, have very comfortable beds, fireplaces and we loved the separate soaking tub looking out onto the property from the multiple windows in our room. The location sits right on a quiet part of the Napa river and is less than a 10 min drive to downtown Napa. They recently renovated the property and it’s very tastefully done. This was our first time in Napa and our first experience at a bed and breakfast so we weren’t sure what to expect but this was an absolutely wonderful experience at a beautiful property.
